We found some coffee and got acquainted with our "home" for the next few day and a layout of the land. Our place had a "private" pool and dock shared by the 3 houses on the property. The dock was a quick walk about a block down the beach and of course when we ventured out to see it, it started to drizzle so I suggested we go back. I'm glad we went back to our place when we did because just after it started to POUR!
We sat on the porch and listened to the rain fall on the tropical tree tops. Unexpected loveliness.
About 20 minutes later, the rain had passed. We decided to skip the dock (in case another pop up shower happened) and hang near the pool all day while reading, lounging, playing cribbage and having a casual Caribbean rum drink :).
